Do you include “spiritual” elements in your Yoga and Mindfulness & Meditations classes?

Our Yoga and Mindfulness & Meditation classes are separate from our spiritual workshops. We respect all beliefs and religions. Our Yoga and Mindfulness & Meditation classes include the elements explained on the “Our classes” page and “What is Self Sacred” page as well as the essential embodiment of yoga, mindfulness and meditation. Some examples are, fine motor skills, communication skills, self-esteem, body awareness, etc. With themes such as kindness, community, expressing our emotions, etc. These classes contain no element of “deep Spiritual sense” to ensure all our students and parents are comfortable.

*Private sessions can include spiritual elements taught in our spiritual workshops if wished. *

What does my child need for class?

For all of our in-person sessions/workshops, comfortable clothing is recommended. No Jeans, fancy shoes, or items that parents and student may not want damaged or dirty. *You can purchase a Self Sacred t-shirt for your child to wear during class.*

A bottle water and a cloth or small towel is also recommended. Yoga classes require physical activity & some classes may be held outside. A light snack is also recommended before class so students are not hungry, or too full for activity during class.

What do I do after booking classes for my child?

We use online booking to book all appointments. Once you book a class there are some forms that must be filled out before your child participates in class. These forms are important! I can personally give you these forms.

Once you have booked your child’s class, just wait till the day of class! I am so excited to see all of you there.

What if I have multiple children that are different ages? Can they come to class too?

Your little ones are always welcome, however, each class is specified by age and carefully planned according to the age group. Every aspect of the class is different from the older aged classes. If you would like multiple children to attend class together, a general private class will be best. If they must accompany you during another little ones class, they are more than welcome to watch or help assist me. I will be happy to provide some paper and crayons for coloring and expression as well.

What is your current policy on Covid-19 and sanitation ?

As a former teacher and child caregiver, it has always been a number one importance for sanitation and prevention of illness. I am fully vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccine.

After every class, any props, or reusable items used for other classes will be properly sanitized and or washed. If a child places something in their mouth during class, it will be taken away from the rest of the class and sanitized properly.

Class/Cancellation/ Inclement weather policy.

Our policy is as follows…

-Classes/sessions are currently held in a private setting. Due to this, it is important to schedule your child for a class/ session through the instructor personally. Classes/sessions are paid and scheduled only through our appointments page.

• Consultations are included in the personal private sessions. However, if you choose to cancel after we have our consultation, the first payment will be counted for the consultation time.

-If you are running late to class just send me a text or call me before class starts so I am aware. (I will not answer my phone during class) If I do not answer I will still have on record of your call or text. If you know you will be 20+ minutes late to class, please give me a call, text, or email ASAP to instead reschedule your child’s class. It is best to get a full class experience for your child.

-***Please let me know if you will not make it to class with your child. I must know ASAP. At most a day (24hr) before your scheduled class. There will be no refunds for no shows or day of cancellations except for extreme emergencies only. We will coordinate to reschedule your child’s class. -**This includes Virtual sessions & virtual coaching as well**

-MIami, Fl Classes may be held outside. If inclement weather occurs, I will send out a message to parents in regards to either inside arrangements or cancellation of class. (Classes canceled prior due to weather will be rescheduled.) If inclement weather occurs, class has already begun and passed its half mark and must be canceled, there will be no refunds or rescheduling.

-All workshops & Class passes are final. There will be no refunds or exchanges for any workshops or class passes Parent/guardian agrees to the following- These sessions are pre-paid and must be scheduled ahead of time & coordinated with the instructor. Sessions will be confirmed a day before. Day-of cancelations will result in forfeit of a session unless extreme emergency or inclement weather has occurred. Class pass does not expire from time of purchase. Parent/Guardian also agrees to sign any documents related to their child's session which includes (Liability waver, and photo release form). Class pass can be transferred to another date if there is an emergency/change of plans agreed with the instructor. ** No refunds can be made with the purchase of this class pass**.
