Our main component in sessions are mental wellness tools & skills. We believe in empowering children, teens and families with the necessary tools and skills for mental health and wellness. We understand that nurturing mental and emotional well-being is crucial for development and happiness.
By introducing concepts such as recognizing emotions, deep self reflection and positive self-talk, we empower to develop resilience and cope with stressors effectively. By laying the foundation for mental wellness, we can empower those to become resilient, emotionally intelligent, and thrive in their overall well-being.
Through tailored programs and initiatives, we provide coping mechanisms, emotional intelligence tools, and self-care practices for children, teens and their families. Our focus is on building resilience, promoting communication, and fostering positive relationships. By teaching these skills, we aim to create a supportive environment where children and families can thrive mentally, emotionally, and socially.
Mindfulness & Meditation
At our sessions, we prioritize the teaching of mindfulness and meditation as valuable tools for fostering a space for understanding, critical thinking, awareness for self, others, and our world. We believe that these practices can greatly enhance one's ability to cope with stress, cultivate inner peace, and improve overall focus and clarity.
During our sessions, we introduce all forms of mindfulness techniques, such as breath awareness, body scans, and guided visualizations, allowing participants to immerse themselves in the present moment.
We also guide individuals in cultivating a regular meditation practice, assisting them in finding a comfortable posture, focusing on their breath, and gently observing their thoughts without judgment. By providing a supportive and nurturing environment, we aim to empower individuals to embrace mindfulness and meditation as lifelong tools for personal growth and inner transformation.
Yoga
At our sessions, we prioritize the holistic development of each child, and teen. One of the ways we achieve this is by incorporating yoga into our programs.
We understand the immense benefits that yoga offers, such as increased flexibility, improved strength, enhanced focus, and a sense of calmness and mindfulness.
During our sessions, we introduce basic, stress reliving yoga poses through fun and interactive activities. We encourage them to explore their bodies' movements, connect with their breath, and cultivate body awareness.
By integrating yoga into our sessions, we aim to provide valuable tools for self-care and build a foundation for a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Science, Art & games
In our sessions, we continue to strive to create a holistic approach to mental wellness by incorporating elements of science, art, and games. Through science, we explore fun evidence-based experiments and strategies that promote mental wellness learning and tools.
We use art as a therapeutic tool, encouraging those to express themselves creatively through various mediums like painting, drawing, and music, allowing for emotional release and self-reflection.
Additionally, we engage in interactive games that promote cognitive functioning, problem-solving, and social interaction, fostering a sense of connection and fun.
By intertwining science, art, and games, we create a dynamic and engaging environment that promotes mental wellness and encourages all to discover their own unique path to inner healing and growth.
Literacy & more!
At our sessions, we place a strong emphasis on incorporating literacy, as a powerful tool for personal growth and self-reflection.
Through various books, we provide a rich literary landscape to explore and engage with. By reading and discussing inspiring and thought-provoking books, we encourage to deepen understanding of emotions, thoughts, and experiences.
Additionally, using literacy means to connect with others who have faced similar struggles, fostering a sense of solidarity and compassion. Beyond traditional therapy techniques, our incorporation of literacy adds depth and dimension to our sessions, enabling us to offer a unique and comprehensive approach to mental wellness and mindfulness.
Private setting & Guidance
At our practice, we ensure that all sessions are conducted in a discreet and confidential environment. Families have the choice to have sessions conducted either in the familiarity of their own homes or in a nearby outdoor space. Additionally, we are now pleased to offer virtual sessions, allowing those the flexibility of attending remotely.
*If you're a parent or guardian who prefers a group setting, we're happy to help. We'll decide on the number of participants together with the instructor to make sure everyone can learn effectively.*
Moreover, we specialize in providing support to children and teens with various challenges, including those on the autism spectrum, as well as individuals with ADHD, ADD, early stages of PTSD, anxiety, grief/loss, high levels of stress, and anger, among others. We possess extensive experience in assisting children with these conditions, enabling us to deliver tailored, trauma-informed sessions and workshops that foster personal growth and healing if needed.
We offer hands-on sessions in Miami, Florida. But we also provide virtual options for those unable to attend in person.
Ages & durations
We work with ages 2 through 16 as well as parents & caregivers through our parent coaching.
Private classes are determined by class type, personalized needs, special requests, etc.
